1.When should a CV be used? 什么情况下用到个人简历

1) When an employer asks for applications to be received in this format

2) When an employer simply states "apply to…" without specifying the format

3) When making speculative applications (when writing to an employer who has not advertised a vacancy but who you hoe may have one)

2.What information should a CV include?

1) personal detail 详细个人信息 （name, address, date of birth, telephone number and email）

2) Education and qualifications 教育和任职资格 （degree, subject and university）

3) Interests and achievements 兴趣和成就 （Hobbies and employment record）

There is no single "correct" way to write and present a CV but the following general rules apply:

1）It is targeted on the specific job or career area for which you are applying and brings out the relevant skills you have to offer 针对自己需要的职位最为重要

2）It is carefully and clearly laid out: Logically ordered, easy to read and not cramped. 版面简洁干净

Be positive- put yourself over confidently and highlight your strong points. 积极正面向上

Be honest: never give inaccurate or misleading information. 真实准确，减少虚假信息
